Corsair Ryzen 7 Build by BakedTaters42

⚠️ WARNING

  • Updating BIOS may be required to support the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G CPU. Minimum BIOS version required: (2409 - Cezanne)
  • You might need a SFX to ATX mounting bracket to install the EVGA Supernova 750 GM into the case. Pick an ATX power supply if possible.
  • Not enough USB headers are available on the motherboard for the Corsair iCUE 4000X case front I/O panel, this port won't be usable: (USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C)

ℹ️ Info

  • Compatibility check between case and fans is not performed, please review manually.
  • Asus PRIME B450-PLUS M.2 restriction: (The M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA_5/6 ports, and therefore the SATA_5/6 ports cannot be used when an M.2 device is installed.)

📝 Description

Used mostly for gaming. BIOS needed to be updated to be compatible with the Ryzen 7 5700G. Have encountered some sound crackling issues; fixes itself after a few minutes, had to reinstall the Realtek Audio drivers. Narrowed it down to my MB just showing it's age.

GPU is actually HP RTX 3060 OEM taken from a HP pre-built that was purchased during the great PCU shortage of 2020. The CPU came from that pre-built as well, the rest of the components (except the CPU cooler and case) were from my preexisting Fractal Design PC.
