📝 Description

This will be my first build. I've been dreaming of building my own for a very long time. I selected what I think are the best performing parts balanced with value and noise considerations. I wanted this build to be scalable and as future proof as possible. I'll be adding items that either enhance or upgrade this build. Pray for an easy process....

Update: I have wanted to build my own PC since I was in high school (I'm 52yo now). Overall, the build went well. My inexperience showed at times such as case disassembly and OS installation. Regarding the disassembly, a quick YT video showed me the way. As far as installing the OS (Win11 Pro) goes, it took me four hours. Admittedly, I work methodically/slowly, but my inexperience got me good. You reach a point in the OS install where you need Internet. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why the Wi-Fi wasn't working. INSTALL THE DRIVER! Um, my advice is don't speed through the setup prompts. I kept missing the little option in the bottom left corner that allows you to install drivers. Thank you MSI for setting me on the correct path. Keep your derision. LOL. I've already shamed myself plenty. Don't forget to install the GPU drivers, too.

Anyway, this is the most advanced and powerful system I've ever owned. I usually lean toward Alienware laptops, but the company has changed in attitude toward me as a customer. You ask questions; they spit letters at you that don't actually answer the question. Maddening. Also, since I've been a loyal customer of Dell for about 15 year, they were willing to throw a 10% discount my way, except for this go around.

This system is obviously more powerful than a laptop version. The performance to cost ratio is so much better. It's much more future-proof so that I don't just play games or work in Blender, etc. Part of the hobby is upgrade, modify, replace components.

There's a sense of pride in what I did. I need that right now.
