⛔ ERROR

  • Lian Li Q58 and NZXT Kraken X63 are not compatible.

⚠️ WARNING

  • Compatibility issues with large cooler heatsinks or water blocks may arise with some Mini-ITX motherboards due to VRM heatsinks / backplates and limited space available. Unfortunately, it is not possible to automatically detect such problems. Therefore, the only reliable way to know in advance is by directly contacting the motherboard or cooler manufacturer.
  • ZOTAC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Trinity Black Edition requires a 16 Pin 12VHPWR power connector adapter to connect three PCIe 6+2 pin power connectors from the power supply. Avoid using the same split PCIe cable, prefer separate cables.

📝 Description

Upgraded some stuff that had decent holiday sales before those tariffs hit.

Zotac Trinity 3070 Ti --> Zotac Trinity Black 4080 Super(via Newegg trąde-in) - I was asking a lot of the 3070 Ti playing in 4k... Frame-Gen is so nice, free fps. Acer XV282K 28" 4k 144Hz IPS --> MSI MPG 321URX 32" 4k 240Hz OLED - This is as noticeable of an upgrade as the gpu, stunning. Keychron K6 65%(Gateron brown)--> Nuphy Air96 v2(Cowberry linear switches) - Quieter, comfier, fast wireless, and I got my function row & numpad back.

I might have been temped to also trade in my 7700x for a 7800x3d or 9800x3d, but there wasn't any stock and the ones I did see were above MSRP. Maybe later. I'm super happy with the performance as-is. I run in 65W Eco Mode with 85C limit, and the AI overclock thing handling the per core voltages and thing. It's honestly more stable than when I did them myself after painstaking trial and error. Performance is at least as good as stock and it runs much quieter under gaming load.

I also dumped all of Armory Crate, EVERYTHING ASUS. No more DRAM light on auto reboot(like when updating). Using Fan Control, which is open source and amazing. Full control, custom or auto fan curves, active community making plug-in for other devices.
