The Ryzen 7 7700X looks to be the new king of gaming, at least for now, taking out the Core i9-12900K in our 12 game sample. The Ryzen 7 7700X is actually our Zen 4 recommendation for gamers. At present AM5 is an expensive platform and if you're faced with having to spend well over $200 on DDR5 memory and the same for an entry-level X670 motherb...
The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X is hands down the best processor on the market for most people, especially if you're looking for phenomenal overall performance for the long term and at a great price. Just be prepared to spend more than the intial sticker price for the upgrade.
AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X processor is likely the better option for streamers and professionals, offering more cores and higher boosts clocks for more intensive workloads.
