La serie 400R è stata accuratamente progettata per fornire una notevole quantità di volume interno e per ottimizzarne l'uso. Può accogliere otto schede PCI-E con una lunghezza massima di 316 mm e persino un radiatore completo da 240 mm compatibile con il sistema di raffreddamento a liquido per CPU Hydro Series H100 e con i sistemi di raffreddamento ad acqua modulari. Poiché i componenti ad alte prestazioni vengono sfruttati al limite delle loro possibilità, è importante garantire un flusso d'aria ottimale. Per questo motivo, il modello 400R dispone di dieci punti di montaggio per ventole, a garanzia di un sistema di raffreddamento più flessibile. Sono incluse di serie tre ventole da 120 mm, due davanti e una dietro, per iniziare immediatamente le attività di realizzazione di un sistema.
