The Radeon RX 6700 XT will use the Navi 22 GPU with 40 CU, 2560 Stream Processor and 12GB of GDDR6 RAM. It would seem that the RX 6700 XT is the RDNA 2-based successor to the RX 5700 XT. But the real question is: will it really be available to buy?

AMD isn't far from revealing its mid-range Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, with the event to be held on March 3rd, some early price rumors say the RX 6700 XT will start at $479 - $499.

Expect the cards sold by partners to be more expensive, in the $500 range. "Moore's Law is Dead" YouTube channel states that radeon RX 6700 XT will be available in larger quantities. However, it is not known where this information is based. It will be also needed to assess the current state of the cryptocurrency mining business. The Radeon RX 6700 XT would be based on a NAVI 22 XT GPU, most likely 40 CU/2560 SP. The memory should total 12 GB at 192 bits.

The new AMD base model is expected to surpass the GeForce RTX 2080 Super in performance and would be approximately comparable to the RTX 3060 Ti. The OC variant of the 6700 XT would offer higher clock speeds and performance that are close to the RTX 3070 range.

UPDATE: Live stream has ended

The new RX 6700 XT will be available for purchase from March 18th.

AMD's early benchmarks show superior performance over Nvidia's RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti @1440p, although not in all games. It is worth noting that these numbers were generated using AMD's Smart Access memory frame rate increase (generically known as Resizable BAR):

The Radeon RX 6700 XT will be also simultaneously available from AMD board partners like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and XFX.
