Although not yet officially announced by Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 mobile graphics cards had their respective specifications published by Chinese PC manufacturer Lenovo presenting the new Legion 5 Pro laptop.


The Legion 5 Pro is powered by the latest generation AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Zen 3 processor. It also has a 16-inch (2560x1600, 16:10) QHD display with an update rate of 165 Hz and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync. However, the most interesting news confirmed by the listing of Lenovo products is the appearance of two NVIDIA GeForce RTX mobile GPUs series 30 not yet revealed. Although we were already aware of the existence of both the GeForce RTX 3050 and the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, until now we had no concrete specifications for both.

The specifications of the new GPUs

Lenovo confirms that the GeForce RTX 3050 will have 4GB of GDDR6 memory and a maximum GPU clock of 1740MHz. The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti will also include 4GB of GDDR6 memory but decrease the GPU's maximum clock to 1695MHz. Both GPUs have a maximum TGP listed of 95 watts when using Dynamic Boost. The GeForce RTX 3050 is likely to have 2048 CUDA cores, while the GeForce RTX 3050 Will have 2560 CUDA cores, 12% more.

Although the specifications of the GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti are the big news (first noticed by VideoCardz), Legion 5 Pro will also be available with the most powerful versions of GPU GeForce RTX 3060 and GeForce RTX 3070.

At this point, the launch of these new GPUs and Tiger Lake-H gaming laptops seems to be imminent.
