Intel's ten-core 20-thread Core i9-10900K cements itself as the fastest gaming processor on the market and comes at a reasonable price, but the extra performance comes at the cost of incredibly high power consumption.
But yes, we can certainly recommend Comet Lake-S if you take all the variables we mentioned in mind, as the 10900K is a bit of a beast alright, you'll have a platform game performance advantage over the competition, however only with the most expensive GPUs, albeit that difference is getting more and more marginal as well.
The world's fastest gaming processor, and something that Intel will hang all its marketing on, but when it comes to real-world performance it doesn't really make a lot of sense as the Comet Lake CPU to drop into your gaming PC.
