What's new with DirectX 12
According to Epic, using DX12 PC players with high-end GPUs can experience a higher and more stable frame rate. This is because DX12 provides better CPU performance and enables the deployment of rendering processes across multiple cores.
It also plans to add DX12-specific features in the long run, and this will give you the opportunity to "eliminate all bugs" by evaluating how the technology works in the current game state.
