The entire series is equipped with a brand new thermal design of the passive chipset and up to four M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots dissipated with high thermal efficiency ensuring full operation on chipsets and NVMe SSDs in order to avoid possible overheating.

Unlike previous X570 AORUS models supplied with fans on heatsinks, this new series features passive heatsinks. In the new versions, its Fins Array II heatsinks, as well as direct contact heat pipes and Smart Fan 6, are the integrated technologies that provide stability during heavy use while maintaining normal temperatures.

As for connectivity, all Gigabyte Aorus AMD X570S motherboards have a 2.5GbE ethernet port, USB Type-C front ports, built-in Wi-Fi 6 card and a 2x2 Type-C USB 3.2 Port.

Gigabyte's AMD X570S family will include several motherboards: the X570S Gaming X, X570S AORUS Pro AX, X570S UD, X570S AERO G and X570S AORUS Master.

These motherboards will be compatible with all 5000 series Ryzen processors, without the need for any manual BIOS updates.

Jackson Hsu's statement, Director of Product Development Gigabyte Channel Solutions

Providing users with the best product has always been Gigabyte’s mission, while the top-quality AMD platform motherboards with excellent compatibility, high efficiency and low temperature demonstrates our strong strength in the development of AMD motherboards. GIGABYTE’s X570S series motherboards are developed by gamers and professional designers who pursue performance, and are enhanced by the features of 16-phase direct digital power design, advanced VRM thermal design, silent cooling design without chipset fan, several PCIe 4.0 interfaces, blazing fast LAN, updated BIOS, and R&D’s adjustment. This series definitely impress the performance chaser by the performance and stability and become the perfect choice for high-end users who plans to assemble AMD platforms.

X570S AORUS MASTER

The high-end X570S AORUS MASTER boasts a 16-step direct digital power design with every Power Stage phase that can handle up to 70A for lower impedance and better load balance of power phases, just like the flagship model board X570 AORUS XTREME. With 16 steps to work with, the power demand is processed evenly from each stage to avoid long-term high load operations of a single phase with a further reduction in heat and energy consumption. This improves overall power efficiency, motherboard life and durability, allowing users to maximize the overclocking potential on AMD Ryzen 5000 desktop processors without overclocking instability or reduced performance issues caused by unstable or overheated power.

X570S AORUS MASTER, AORUS PRO AX and AERO G

The X570S AORUS MASTER, AORUS PRO AX and AERO G are equipped with GIGABYTE's new Active OC Tuner active overclocking technology. The CPU overclock rate and the number of operating cores can be dynamically switched between the default precision overclock function (Precision Boost Overdrive) and manual overclocking based on the different requirements of the current configuration and the characteristics of running applications. This technology allows the user to run applications with frequency and number of ideal cores to achieve maximum performance. With Gigabyte Active OC Tuner overclocking technology, users will be able to activate this feature to enjoy the benefits of optimized automatic overclocking settings.

Pricing information from Gigabyte is not yet available, but these high-end motherboards certainly won't be cheap.
